This site is operated by CLOWNPIT, K.K. (“we”), based in Tokyo, Japan. We list individual professionals in Japan so that visitors can contact them directly. We are not a booking agent and we do not take a commission.

What we collect

Contact messages. If you email us or a listed person, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
Usage data. Our content delivery network records standard web request logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser user agent). We also use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and reports aggregated usage.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment details, identity documents, health information, or any other sensitive personal data.

How we use it

Contact messages are used only to reply to you, and to introduce you to the person you asked about.
Usage data is used to understand which pages are read and which links are followed, so that we can improve the site.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Our use of the Threads API

We operate the Threads account @valuejourney_llc. Our application uses Meta’s Threads API to publish posts from that account, to read that account’s own performance metrics, and to find and reply to public posts about golf in Japan. The application acts only on behalf of our own account. It does not post on behalf of anyone else, and it does not store the personal data of other Threads users.

How long we keep it

Web request logs are kept for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained under the default Google Analytics settings. Contact messages are kept while the enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing the address below. You can block cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
